Remove permission password from PDF

Permission passwords (owner passwords) prevent editing, copying, or printing. If you have permission, you can remove those restrictions.

Steps
  1. Confirm the file is yours or you have explicit permission.
  2. Use the Unlock PDF tool to clear restrictions.
  3. Test printing, copying, and editing on the unlocked file.
  4. If the file requires an 'open password', remove that first.
