Remove password from PDF on iPhone

iOS can open protected PDFs, but removing restrictions usually requires exporting or using an unlock tool.

Steps

Open the PDF in Files or a PDF app and enter the password if prompted.
If you have permission, export a new PDF copy (Share → Save to Files).
If restrictions remain, use the Unlock PDF tool on desktop or web to remove them.
Never remove security from documents you don't own or aren't allowed to modify.
